Knights of Columbus Basketball Free Throw Competition

the Crystal Lake Knights of Columbus Councils 3880 and 10678 are sponsoring their Annual Youth Free Throw Championship competition.

All boys and girls ages 10 to 14 (as of January 1, 2012) are invited to participate in the 2012 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The competition will be held Saturday, January 21st at 8:30 am at St. Thomas the Apostle School located at 265 King Street in Crystal Lake (please enter the gym off of Lake Street).

The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually, with winners progressing through local, district, and state competitions. International champions are announced by the K of C international headquarters based on scores from the state-level competitions.

All contestants will be recognized for their participation in the event. Age group winners will receive a Championship plaque and advance to the District Free Throw Championship on Saturday February 25 in Cary. Participants are required to furnish proof of age and written parental consent.
