Shakespeare in the Park "The Taming of the Shrew"

Riverview Theatre Company is pleased to announce the return of its Shakespeare in the Park production The Taming of the Shrew on the Veteran’s Memorial Park gazebo stage. Final performances are July 20, 22, 23 & 24 at 7pm. Admission is FREE and donations are greatly accepted. 

This Ravinia-style production celebrates Shakespeare under the stars in downtown McHenry. Audiences will witness the splendor and humor of this classic Shakespearean comedy as performed by the gifted Riverview players.  The production is led by director Roger Zawacki and assistant director Molly Peters (Johnsburg), stage manager Ashley Brown (Cary) and executive producer Angie Kells (McHenry). The ensemble includes Peter Heimsoth, Celia Villacres, Cameron Reeves, Cynthia Heimsoth, Nathan Clemenson, Thomas Mann, Samantha Williams, Jaclyn Fowler, Carson Brandenburg, Greg Waldyn, Breanna Lange, Dominic Donato, John McDonnell (McHenry), Deb Swinford, Alex Fayer, Brendan Gaughan (Crystal Lake), Jennifer Samson (Huntley), Keith Jackewicz, Marian Nusser, Anthony Maggioncalda, Arthur Copeland (Johnsburg) and Jim Dixon.
