The Renewal Center – A Wellness Oasis for Cancer Survivors is celebrating the anniversary of their first year in operation. Please join The Renewal Center at an Open House as it celebrates this milestone on June 2, 2011 from 5:30-8:00 pm at the Community Event room of Advocate Good Shepherd Emergency Care Building, 525 Congress Parkway in Crystal Lake.

Participate in a celebrity auction that includes items donated by national and local celebrities such as Grant Achatz, Katie Couric, Danny Aiello, Carla Coulter, and Barefoot Fred. The Renewal Center focuses on people who are no longer in active day-to-day cancer treatment and helps them deal with lingering emotional issues through support groups, education, and social interaction.
