FC United USA Soccer Development Academy Comes to The MAC!!!!

USA Development Academy Opportunities right on your doorstep!

It was usual Chicago Winter weather, with snow falling and ice on the roads. That did not stop FC United's 2003 and 2001 Development Academy (www.fcuda.com) soccer players from braving the conditions and traveling from far and wide (Wisconsin, Darien, North Shore) to train and play with
SBW Alliance (www.sbwafc.com) HS girls at The MAC in Crystal Lake. The partnership with FC United allows SBW Alliance players to train with the DA and have a true pathway to the Development Academy.
12 of SBW Alliances HS players will be training with FC United's Academy over the next couple of weeks.
Paul Miceli, SBW Alliance's Director of Coaching said 'Its all about the kids, our goal is to create a club that allows players to stay in one place throughout there playing career and not be lured away with false
promises, politics and inconsistencies that are rife in youth soccer. Our number one goal is to develop players and we have a track record of doing that. We look for opportunities all the time for our players to
get extra exposure and our indoor facility enables us to train more often than other clubs in the area. For us, winter training is where our player development really accelerates.

The relationship with FC United makes total sense for us having worked with USDA Director John Soltani over the years.

We are excited about what the future holds and will continue to provide our players a platform to the DA.'
