Felony Supervisor Joins McHenry Co. State's Attorney's Office

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, is pleased to announce that Roderick A. Drobinski joined our office January 6, 2020, as Criminal Felony Supervisor.

Rod brings with him 15 years of experience in the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State’s Attorney where he successfully tried drug-induced homicide and streetgang drug conspiracy cases. More recently, Rod was a solo practitioner in Waukegan, Illinois, where he specialized in criminal defense and was appointed by the 19th Judicial Circuit to represent indigent individuals in post-conviction petitions.
Rod earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Government/International Relations from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana. He earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he was a founding member of the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy.
