Sabo was barred from coaching for the league upon his arrest. He was convicted in 2014 on 20 counts of possession of child pornography and sentenced to two years in prison. He was also ordered to register as a sex offender.
A warrant was issued for Sabo’s arrest after he allegedly did not have a fixed address and did not report it to police between Feb. 20, 2015 and March 24, 2015, according to the Northwest Herald. He was arrested on charges that he failed to comply with the sex offender registry in September 2015.
