Free Chick-fil-A For 'Hometown Heroes' This Week

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – "Hometown Heroes" will have the chance to get a free Chick-fil-A entree next week as part of a week-long giveaway. From 11 a.m. through 8 p.m. on Monday, May 7 through Friday, May 11, guests to Chicagoland's 26 Chick-fil-A restaurants will receive a free entree if they show a valid form of identification on days specified for honoring the following groups: teachers, educators and administrators, active military and veterans, police officers, firefighters, EMTs and nurses, according to a news release.

Here is a look at who can pick up their free entree at their local Chick-fil-A (as long as supplies last):

• Monday, May 7: Teachers, Educators and Administrators
• Tuesday, May 8: Active Military and Veterans
• Wednesday, May 9: Police
• Thursday, May 10: Firefighters
• Friday, May 11: EMTs and Nurses

“We are honored to support our Hometown Heroes who keep our city safe, healthy and educated,” said Lauren Silich, franchise Operator of Chick-fil-A at Loyola Water Tower. “For many of us, these heroes are friends, family or colleagues, so we invite the community to bring their hero to a local Chick-fil-A restaurant and join us in celebrating the Chicagoans who make this city so great.”

The free Chick-fil-A offer is valid with a valid ID as proof of service and is available in-restaurant and in the drive-thru from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. while supplies last. The offer is limited to one free entrée per person.

Chick-fil-A has locations in Crystal Lake (4812 Northwest Highway), Kildeer (20429 N. Rand Road), Vernon Hills (701 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Suite 360), Gurnee (6550 Grand Avenue) and Batavia (185 N.
