Free Community Day at the Cary Dog Park

Think your dog could use more socialization with other four-legged, furry friends?

Bring him – or her – out to the free Community Day at the Dog Park, located at Hoffman Park in Cary. All tails will be waggin’ and pups will be beggin to run and play with fellow hounds

The special free event, hosted by the Cary Park District, is open to the community from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23.

The Dog Park provides 18 fenced acres that includes a mowed, grassy play area, a field meadow and tall grasses with a walking trail. A separate fenced-in area is ideal for smaller dogs. There are also separate training spots for owners to acclimate dogs that are off the leash for the first time.

Hoffman Park offers 265 acres of outdoor recreational facilities. The park has entrances off West Main Street, New Haven Drive and North Fox Trails Road.
