Grant Street in Crystal Lake Closes at Railroad Tracks This Week
Work to repair the tracks will take place between May 15 and May 24.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL - Union Pacific is scheduling a temporary road closure at the railroad crossing on Grant Street. The anticipated dates of closure are from 8 a.m. on May 15 through 5 p.m. on May 24.
Construction activities will include full crossing rehab and the replacement of tracks and surface. This closure is necessary to ensure continued safety along the Metra Northwest Line, according to a news release.
