Halogen Light Ignites Books In Cary Fire: Fire Officials
The blaze started in the living room of a Cary home on Thursday morning, fire officials said.
CARY, IL — A halogen light started some books on a bookshelf on fire inside a Cary home on Thursday morning, fire officials told the Northwest Herald. The Cary Fire Protection District was called to the scene in the 500 block of Berriedale Drive at 7:56 a.m. and was able to quickly extinguish the blaze, which was isolated to the living room.
No one was injured, Cary Fire Protection District Deputy Chief Ken Destree told the newspaper.
