Huntley High Principal Named 'Principal Of The Year'
Marcus Belin was recently named Principal of the Year for the Illinois Principals Association Kishwaukee Region.

HUNTLEY, IL — Marcus Belin, principal of Huntley High School, has been named Principal of the Year for the Illinois Principals Association Kishwaukee Region. He received the honor at the IPA Regional Meeting on January 29, according to a news release from District 158.
Belin’s nomination emphasized the student-centered culture he has championed at Huntley High School, direct engagement with students, and setting a positive tone for all students, school officials said.
He was named principal of HHS in 2018 after beginning his career as a teacher and administrator in Peoria. He also serves as the chair of the IPA's legislation committee.
