Husmann Third Grader Wins National Night Out Design Contest

Crystal Lake Police Department presents T-shirt and award to Savannah Lowitzki on May 22, 2018.

On May 22, 2018, the Crystal Lake Police Department announced Savannah Lowitzki (third grader at Husmann Elementary) as this year’s National Night Out T-shirt design contest winner. National Night Out is an event hosted by police departments across the country to unite with residents of the communities in which they serve. The T-shirt design contest, open to all third, fourth and fifth grade students in District 47, is hosted by the Crystal Lake Police Department and District 47.

The 2018 National Night Out event will be held on Tuesday, August 7th from 5pm to 8pm at Three Oaks Recreation Area and will feature kid-friendly fun and games and an opportunity for residents to meet and greet the officers that serve the Crystal Lake community.
