IHOP Closes; The Forester Restaurant Opens in Same Location

The IHOP on Route 14 closed on Friday with a new restaurant taking its place, The Forester Restaurant, and opening on Monday, according to the Northwest Herald. 

IHOP franchisee Mike Kuhnke told the Northwest Herald his contract expired and he decided to open his own restaurant instead of renewing with IHOP. The Forester Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, according to the article.
