Johnny Appleseed Festival Returns to Downtown Crystal Lake

Area residents can stop out and celebrate fall at the annual Johnny Appleseed Festival in downtown Crystal Lake this weekend. The one-day festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Lauded as Crystal Lake's largest one-day event, festivities include live music, entertainment, pony rides, petting zoo, pumpkin train, pumpkin bowling, clowns, face painting, storytelling, temporary tattoos, wagon rides, a Farmers Market and more.
