NAMI McHenry County is celebrating its 30th Anniversary providing free mental health services to the residents of McHenry County and to kick off May as Mental Health Month, NAMI is having its 1st Annual Friend Raiser on May 6th at the Dole Mansion! (See Flyer Attached)
NAMI McHenry County will honor Dr. Rick B. Kirchhoff with the Spirit of Hope Award at the event.
The mission of NAMI McHenry County is to provide support, education, and advocacy in order to improve the quality of life of individuals living with a mental illness and their families.

NAMI has grown from a very small grassroots all volunteer organization in 1987 to an established nonprofit with staff. In 2016, NAMI provided its free mental health support, education and advocacy for 1,295 individuals living in the county.
NAMI works in partnership with other McHenry County organizations to ensure the needs of those living with a mental illness and their families receive comprehensive services that support their recovery journey and lead to an enhanced quality of life and well-being.
