Kids are Welcome in the Kitchen at the Crystal Lake Park District

The Crystal Lake Park District has plenty of options for kids and teens who want to learn their way around the kitchen! Registration in advance is required for all classes. Register online at www.crystallakeparks.org or in person at the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office, One East Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake. Children’s Cake Decorating Class (age 8-18 years)

Decorate cakes and cookies like a pro for the holidays-then show them off to your family and friends! Supplies are included and you will always take home your tasty masterpieces.

Giggly Gourmets (ages 3-7 years)

Your gourmets will begin learning the basics of kitchen knowledge and teamwork. WE will make yummy creations to sample in class. Recipes will be shared at the end of the session.

Fun and Healthy Cooking (ages 6-11 years)

Eating healthy not only can taste great, but help you gain energy and stamina. Kids will cook creative, nutritional receipts that they can sample. A comprehensive cookbook will go home at the end of the session so you can easily repeat your favorite receipt
