Lakeside Festival Gets Underway in Crystal Lake

Over 50,000 people are expected to stop out to this year’s Lakeside Festival in Crystal Lake.

The festival, which runs July 2 through 5, will feature live music, plenty of food at the “Taste by the Lake,” thrilling rides, midway games, reunions with friends, historic tours, gallery exhibits, incredible selection of beer and wines, and fun for the whole family.

There is a $5 gate charge and free admission for kids 12 and under. The festival will run from 4 to 11 p.m. on Thursday, noon to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
