The Land Conservancy Hosts Nature Talk Workshop on Feb. 1
TLC is hosting a workshop that will give participants the tools to inspire others to become advocates for local natural communities.

The Land Conservancy of McHenry County (TLC) is hosting a workshop that will give participants the tools to inspire others to become advocates for local natural communities.
The workshop takes place Saturday, Feb. 1 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Woodstock Public Library at 414 Judd St. in Woodstock. Following the classroom session, the outdoor portion of the workshop will take place at Ryder’s Woods 750 Kimball Ave. in Woodstock.
Nature Talk is free and open to anyone who has an interest in nature and sharing nature concepts with others. Participants may include experienced teachers, science professionals, volunteers, site stewards or interested members of the public.

TLC’s ecologist, Melissa Grycan, and educator, Sarah Michehl, will share techniques on how to:
· Talk to friends and neighbors about native plants and pollinators

· Lead nature hikes and share nature concepts with the public in a meaningful way
