The Land Conservancy of McHenry County Hosts Spring Native Plant Sale May 15 & 16 in Woodstock
Sale Features Locally Grown Native Plants, Trees, Shrubs, Vegetables and Herbs

The Land Conservancy of McHenry County (TLC) will have native plants, shrubs, trees, vegetables and herbs available during its in-person native plant sale. The sale takes place Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16 from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the McHenry County Fairgrounds, 11900 Country Club Rd. Woodstock.
The sale offers a variety of native plants, trees and shrubs and are listed as appropriate for sun, shade or wet areas. They support wildlife, help rain soak into the soil, and add beauty to the landscape. Lists of available plants are posted at ConserveMC.org (https://conservemc.org/tlcs-spring-native-plant-sale/). The sale will feature some unique and unusual native plants in addition to more common varieties. Knowledgeable staff will be on hand to answer plant questions.
TLC members receive 10 percent off their orders. A portion of the sales from the Native Plant Sale supports TLC’s land preservation work in McHenry County.
