Letitia Dewith-Anderson has joined the Board of Directors of The Land Conservancy of McHenry County.
Letitia Dewith-Anderson has joined the Board of Directors of The Land Conservancy of McHenry County.

The Land Conservancy of McHenry County (TLC) welcomes Letitia Dewith-Anderson to its Board of Directors.

Dewith-Anderson is the President and CEO of Anderson Legislative Consulting, Ltd., a lobbying firm in Illinois. The firm was founded in 1991 and lobbies on various policy issues including but not limited to, energy, environmental and conservation. She is committed to protecting, conserving, restoring the natural environment and ensuring healthy communities thrive.

TLC’s Board President, Karen Lavin, said, "The board and staff are excited to be working with Letitia Dewith-Anderson. Her background as an environmental lobbyist will bring a new and unique perspective to the work TLC does to preserve land for life and in McHenry County.”

Dewith-Anderson has worked in the Illinois General Assembly for over 40 years. She served on the Illinois House of Representatives staff where she was responsible for the House Energy Committee, House Subcommittee on Aging and the analysis of 10 state agency budgets, which included the Pollution Control Board, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and the Illinois Department of Nuclear Energy.

She served as Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs for the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, where she specialized in environmental, consumer and senior citizen policy and legislative issues. Dewith-Anderson has a Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Spelman College, and an Associate of Arts degree from Springfield College in Illinois. She is a resident of Woodstock, Illinois.
