Learn the 10 Latest Apps for Keeping Kids Safe Online at Parent University

Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 will host its second annual fall Parent University event in coming weeks.

Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 will hold its second annual fall Parent University event on Thursday, November 3 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Bernotas Middle School in Crystal Lake.

Guest speaker Matt Batt, founder of The Parent Feed and Project B3, will offer a 90-minute presentation on digital safety called The Parent Feed, where parents will learn about the top 10 latest apps and how to keep their kids smart, safe and responsible online and through social media, according to a press release.

The Parent Feed is the parent component of a similar presentation called Project B3 delivered to D47 middle school students earlier this fall. While the presentation is geared toward middle school parents, all District 47 parents are invited to attend and the event is free and open to the public.
