Man Crashes Into Several Cars, Sign In School Parking Lot

CARY, IL — A man driving in a local school parking lot Monday morning suffered a medical emergency and crashed into several cars, police said.

The collision happened at about 9:30 a.m. Monday at Three Oaks Elementary School, 1514 Three Oaks Road, when a vehicle hit a sign and several parked cars in the parking lot, according to a news release from the Cary Fire Protection District.

And school's nurse and staff used an AED on the man and performed CPR until paramedics arrived at the scene. The man regained a pulse before he was taken to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
