Man Forced His Way Into Estranged Family's Home: Police

Authorities are looking for Robert R. Skoglund, 35, who is accused of battering a family member at the Lake Barrington home.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — Police are looking for a 35-year-old Danville man accused of breaking into his estranged family's home in Lake Barrington Wednesday mornin.

Robert R. Skoglund fled in a dark-colored Chevrolet Impala that has temporary plates.

Police say he forced his way into the home in 900 block of Shoreline Road in Lake Barrington and battered a family member, according to a post on the Lake County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

Detectives are working to obtain an arrest warrant for Skoglund. Anyone who spots him is asked to call 911.
