Man Found Dead Following House Fire In Spring Grove

SPRING GROVE, IL — Authorities are investigating the death of a 68-year-old Spring Grove man who was found dead inside his home following a fire early Thursday.

Jozef K. Wisniewski was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from the McHenry County Coroner's Office. The coroner's office is working with the Fox Lake Police Department, Spring Grove Police Department and Illinois State Fire Marshal's Office to investigate the blaze.

An autopsy will be performed on Monday.
