Authorities say an investigation revealed the two men previously owned the restaurant together, and on Tuesday, the older brother, Marciano Martinez, traveled to Dockers to confront his younger brother about an ongoing feud, according to the Daily Herald. Police say during the argument, which initially took place in the kitchen, Marciano pulled out a gun and shot his younger brother.
Mario tried to flee the area and get outside, but Marciano followed him and continued to shoot at him, according to a news release from the Lake County Major Crime Task Force.

Fox Lake Police Chief Jimmy Lee told the Daily Herald emergency crews first at the scene worked quickly to get Mario to Condell. He said Mario has since undergone emergency surgery and was in the intensive care unit as of Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday, preliminary results from an autopsy show Marciano died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Lake County Coroner's Office.
