Man Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Route 14
Daniel Anderson was struck by a vehicle on Route 14 in Woodstock Thursday night.
WOODSTOCK, IL - A 43-year-old Woodstock man was killed after being struck by a car on Route 14 Thursday night.
Daniel P. Anderson was taken to the hospital after being hit by a westbound vehicle on Route 14 at Lakeshore Drive in Woodstock at 9:49 p.m. on Thursday, according to McHenry County Coroner's Office news release. He was pronounced dead about an hour later.
An autopsy on Friday revealed Anderson died from blunt trauma to his head and abdomen, according to a news release.

The death remains under investigation by the Woodstock Police Department and the McHenry County Coroner's Office.
