McAllister's Deli Plans to Open in Crystal Lake

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Crystal Lake will be getting a McAllister's Deli next year. City officials announced the deli will be moving into the 5500 Northwest Highway with plans of opening in 2020, according to a post on the city of Crystal Lake Facebook page.

The location was formerly occupied by Five Below. Five Below relocated to the former Dress Barn location at 5460 Northwest Highway. A grand opening event was held in recent weeks for Five Below.

McAllister's Deli, a chain fast-casual restaurant, serves up sandwiches, salads, soups and "spuds," according to its website. McAllister's Deli currently has 11 locations in the Chicago area, with the closest business located along Randall Road in Algonquin.
