MCCD Hosts Candlelight Ski This Weekend
The local conservation district will host the event this Friday and Saturday evening at Prairieview Education Center.

From MCCD: Discover the beauty of a crisp, winter evening through woodland trails lit only by candlelight. McHenry County Conservation District will host a Candlelight Ski, Friday, February 15 and Saturday, February 16 from 5–9 p.m. at Prairieview Education Center, 2112 Behan Road, Crystal Lake. Note: changes in weather and/or trail conditions this week may shift the event from a ski to a hike. Each evening might be different. Check MCCDistrict.org for latest trail conditions or like us on Facebook for event updates.
Bring your own skis and test your skills along the 1 mile looped trail. Skiers of every level and age are invited. Drop in anytime for this free activity. Get some fresh air, exercise, and enjoy the frosty night with hot chocolate and snacks around the campfire. No pets, please.
