MCCD, Library Team Up For STEEM Event
The event will be held on June 22 at the Prairieview Education Center in Crystal Lake.
From the McHenry County Conservation District: A Hands-on Special Event with McHenry County Conservation District and the Crystal Lake Public Library.
From Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, oh my! Everyone can benefit from building skills in these areas. Join McHenry County Conservation District for a family-friendly adventure of STEEM Explorations… in Nature! as we weave the natural Environment into these themes Saturday, June 22 from 1–4 p.m. at Prairieview Education Center, 2112 Behan Road, Crystal Lake.
Visit stations with hands-on activities that pique your natural curiosity and foster critical thinking. Become more ‘naturally’ engaged as you explore a variety of STEEM concepts. Drop in for a little while or immerse yourselves in the afternoon's activities and have a great time in the natural world!
