McHenry Co. Conservation District Announces Summer Concert Series Lineup
The concert series will get underway at Glacial Park starting on June 4.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL - The McHenry County Conservation District has announced its summer concert series. The summer evening of musical entertainment will be held on the back patio of the Lost Valley Visitor Center in Glacial Park, located at Route 31 and Harts Road in Ringwood. Trillium will be the first musical act to perform on June 4.
Trillium is a quartet performing an energetic array of Celtic, folk, ragtime, bluegrass, and Dixieland music, according to a news release. The group features Mim Eichmann on hammered dulcimer and percussion; Scott Sedlacek on guitar and banjo; Jordi Kleiner on fiddle and mandolin; and Doug Lofstrom on bass and vocals.

Those attending are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner or dessert and a lawn chair. The concerts are held in an "intimate outdoor setting under the branches of ancient oaks with stunning views of the outstretched valley," according to a MCCD news release. In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors.
Registration is not required.
