MCHENRY COUNTY, IL -- A Hebron man is $450,000 richer after winning big in the Illinois Lottery. Donald Raef recently won the Lucky Day Lotto prize after his ticket matched all five numbers, 03 - 04 - 09 - 16 - 28, in a Sept. 8 drawing.
Raef, who regularly purchases Lucky Day Lotto tickets, has been playing the same numbers for several years. His plans for the windfall include buying a house.
The winning ticket was purchased at BP, 7615 US Highway 14 in Crystal Lake. The retailer received a bonus of $4,500, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
