McHenry Co. Woman to Appear in Episode Three of 'The Bachelor'

An Algonquin native will be continuing on in this season of “The Bachelor” after receiving a rose during episode two of the ABC reality TV show.Â
Trina Scherenberg, 33, a former special education teacher at Crystal Lake South, was among 18 women to receive a rose from Chris, a “stylish farmer from Iowa,” during episode two of the show on Monday.

Another local woman, Amanda Goerlitz, 24, of Lake in the Hills, was sent home following episode one of ’The Bachelor.’ Goerlitz teaches ballet at Judith Svalander School of Ballet in Crystal Lake, according to the Northwest Herald.
