McHenry County Sheriff Will Run Unopposed In Upcoming Primary

Robb Tadelman is seeking a second term in office.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL —McHenry County Sheriff Robb Tadelman will run unopposed in the upcoming primary election in March in Illinois.

The Republican candidate and 20-year veteran of the McHenry County Sheriff's Office will be the only choice for sheriff appearing on ballots since no other candidate filed for the seat ahead of the March 17 primary.

There is still a possilbity that Tadelman, who has served one term as sheriff, will be opposed during the November general election since parties can slate candidates after the primary, Shaw Local News Network is reporting.
