McHenry Man Arrested On Sexual Abuse Charges
In June, a McHenry County grand jury charged Christopher Friedle with 21 felony counts for crimes he's accused of committing last year.
MCHENRY, IL — A McHenry man has been arrested on charges of aggravated sexual assault, aggravated sexual abuse, domestic battery and unlawful restraint.
McHenry County Sheriff's deputies arrested Christopher M. Friedle, 29, on Wednesday. Friedle is in the county jail ahead of his arraignment and bond hearing Friday in McHenry County Court. His bail is set at $80,000.
In June, a McHenry County grand jury charged Friedle with 21 felony counts for crimes he allegedly committed around September of last year. He is accused of sexually assaulting and abusing a woman, biting her, strangling her, and holding her down.

Friedle had previously been convicted of aggravated domestic battery in Cook County in 2019, according to the indictment.
