McHenry Man Charged With Drug-Induced Homicide
Glen L. Miculinic was arrested Monday at his home in McHenry

A 65-year-old man was arrested Monday on drug charges in connection with the heroin overdose death of a 55-year-old man who was found unresponsive by authorities at a gas station in McHenry County last month.
Bond has been set at $250,000 for Glen L. Miculinic who faces charges of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and drug-induced homicide, according to a McHenry County Sheriff’s Office press release.
The charges come after an investigation by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force into the death of a 55-year-old man. That man, authorities said, was found unresponsive on Jan. 11 at a Shell gas station at 2022 W. Rand Road in McHenry.

During the course of the investigation, detectives recovered evidence that indicated the younger man may have ingested heroin prior to his death, according to the news release. Detectives also learned that Miculinic allegedly supplied the man with the heroin.
An arrest warrant was issued for Miculinic and on Monday, members of the US Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Miculinic without incident at his home in McHenry. Miculinic was then transported to McHenry County Correctional Facility where he remained in custody.
