McHenry Precinct 32 Democrats will host a Candidate Meet and Greet open to the public on Monday November 4 at the McHenry Public Library Meeting Room 135 from 7-8:30pm. The event will feature candidate for Circuit Court Judge Elizabeth “Beth” Vonau and candidate for Circuit Court Clerk Renee Overlee.

“The event is an opportunity for the public to meet the candidates who will be running for important offices in McHenry County,” said event organizer and Precinct Committeeman Terry Kappel. Though the event is hosted by McHenry Precinct 32 Democrats, Kappel said it is open to anyone who wishes to learn more about the candidates who will be on the ballot next year.

It will also be an opportunity for circulation of petitions for Democratic candidates and there will be discussion on precinct organizing as a means to help inform the public and increase turnout in the upcoming election cycle.
