Meet Sam, a Homeless Japanese Chin

Looking for a home in time for the holidays.

Sam is a male 8-year-old Japanese Chin whose owner passed away unexpectedly, leaving Sam homeless.

Can you believe the adorable expression on his face? Like most Chins, he has a beautiful silky black and white coat that he loves getting brushed.

Petfinder.com noted that Sam is sweet, affectionate and calm. He walks well on a leash and rides nicely in a car. He gets along very well with other small friendly dogs. Sam loves to have his belly and ears rubbed, and enjoys being near people.

Sam was recently neutered, is heartworm negative and up to date on all his vaccinations. His only health concern is a heart murmur, but he was recently examined by a veterinary cardiologist who determined that while he needs no heart medicine now, his condition should be monitored during his annual exams.

Sam is looking for a quiet lifestyle preferably in an adult home where someone is around most of the time. He is now in a Japanese Chin Care foster home in Huntley.

Won't you give this cute guy a forever home this holiday season?
