Missing WI Man Found Dead After Crashing Car In Rosemont
Benjamin Oberto of New Berlin was reported missing Thursday, a day before police found him dead inside his car, authorities said.

ROSEMONT, IL — A Wisconsin man reported missing on Thursday was found dead inside his car in Rosemont, according to police.
Benjamin Oberto, 45, was found around 3:40 p.m. Friday when Rosemont police officers located a Subaru Impreza with Wisconsin license plates overturned and partially submerged in a creek at the bottom of an embankment, Illinois State Police and New Berlin police in Wisconsin confirmed.
According to police, the car was involved in a single-vehicle crash on the curve of the Interstate 90 eastbound ramp to northbound Interstate 294.

Authorities found a body inside the car, which was later identified as Oberto.
According to a FOX6 News report, Oberto was a father of two and was working in Crystal Lake when he was last seen.

The crash remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
