Gallery: Local Salon Receives Good Turnout for Appreciation Day

Modern Wave Hair Salon in Cary gave free haircuts to veterans, police and fire personnel.

Modern Wave Hair Salon in Cary gave free haircuts to veterans and active duty military today.

"We had a really good turnout throughout the day," Salon owner, Dana Tursky said.  There were more than 30 veterans, police and fire personnel that came in for a haircut.

Their next event will be the Spa's open house on from 4 to 8 p.m., Dec. 2.
