Each Tuesday and Thursday during most of the summer, Joni, invites you to bring your child(ren) to Joyful Harvest Church in Johnsburg where we will paint a new character each week on canvas. You and your child will listen to a short social story about the character and then begin painting a masterpiece to take home and use as a visual reminder to be of good character! The cost is only $10.00 and an additional $5.00 per sibling. Grandmas, Grandpas, Daddy's or Aunts and Uncles can paint, each child needs to be accompanied by an adult to work on the painting together. What a great memory and lesson to be learned! Joni is the creator of Characters of Character, they earned a National Promising Practice Award and today the characters have over 30 books available.
