Motorcyclist Killed In Route 14 Crash
Police say the 38-year-old Warrenville man was ejected from his motorcycle after leaving roadway.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A 38-year-old Warrenville man died Saturday night after a motorcycle crash on Route 14, police said.
The Crystal Lake Police Department responded at about 8:45 p.m. on Saturday to a report of a single-vehicle crash with injuries near Route 14 and Lake Shore Drive. A preliminary investigation found a 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling east when it left the roadway, ejecting the driver, according to a news release from the Crystal Lake Police Department.
The man sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

A portion of Route 14 was closed for about two and a half hours as emergency crews responded and cleared the scene.
