New Dutch Bros. Coffee Gets Thumbs Down From Plan Commission

The Crystal Lake City Council will now vote on the proposal in March.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A proposal for a Dutch Bros Coffee drive-thru in Crystal Lake has received mixed reactions from the local planning commission, which recently voted 5-2 against recommending it due to concerns about traffic, site constraints, and the building's design.

Commissioners did not think the coffee shop as a good fit for the new two-tenant building proposed at 5999 Northwest Highway, according to Shaw Local News Network.

The Crystal Lake City Council will make the final decision on the proposal on March 3.
