No Injuries Reported In Durex International Blaze
The fire broke out Tuesday morning within the Cary industrial building.
CARY, IL — No one was injured when a fire broke out at Durex International in Cary Tuesday morning.
The Cary Fire Protection District was called to Durex, 190 Detroit Street, at about 6:40 a.m. When fire crews first arrived at the scene they found smoke coming from the roof on the rear side of the building.
The blaze was found in the ceiling above an aluminum furnace, according to a news release from the Cary Fire Protection District. The fire was extinguished and brought under control within minutes.

Employees were safely evacuated from the building and no one was injured. A damage estimate is not immediately available and employees were able to return to work after the fire was extinguished.
The business will remain open, according to fire officials. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
