None of the 42 Hannah Beardsley Middle School students on board a school bus Thursday morning were injured when authorities said the bus was rear-ended by a car, the Northwest Herald reports.

The school bus was turning from Abbington Drive in Crystal Lake onto Surrey Lane when the collision occurred. The driver of the Pontiac sedan that collided with the bus was also not injured. The Pontiac did become wedged under the bus and another school bus was dispatched to come and pick up the children and bring them to school, according to the article.
