No One Injured In Crystal Lake Fire
A home on Deer Path Run sustained $20,000 in damages, fire officials said. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — No one was injured when a blaze broke out Tuesday night at a home in the 100 block of Deer Path Run in Crystal Lake.
The Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department was called to the home at 9:40 p.m., and firefighters first at the scene found smoke and a fire in the kitchen, according to a news release from the fire department.
One person was at home at the time of the blaze and was able to get out of the home safely, according to the news release.

Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze, which was located in the kitchen, and the home sustained $20,000 in heat, smoke and water damage, according to authorities.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Crystal Lake Fire Rescue and Crystal Lake Police investigators.
