Open House For Randall Road Project Held in Crystal Lake

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — The public can sound off on an improvement project planned for Randall Road during an open house this Thursday in Crystal Lake.
The McHenry County Division of Transportation will host the open house from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Crystal Lake South High School.
The Randall Road corridor improvement project will widen and reconstruct Randall Road to six lanes for the last remaining 1.3-mile section of Randall Road, which runs from Alexandra Boulevard to Acorn Lane in Lake in the Hills.

The improvements will include construction of a bike path on the east side of Randall Road and a sidewalk on the west side. These additions will link to an existing pedestrian and bike networks from the north to the south as well as provide connections to neighborhoods, parks and schools.
