Artur Marynowski has been in the jewelry and clock repair business since the 1970s. He and his wife, Ola, have owned Gold-Watch in Cary since 1996. Artur was trained in his native Poland as a master watchmaker and is a great resource for the community.

Many of the cuckoo clocks in Gold-Watch were found at the curb, thrown out with the trash. Artur Marynowski said he keeps his eyes peeled on garbage day.
Skate boarding is becoming more popular, with recent skate competitions in Cary and McHenry County, along with the recent building of the skate facility in Lions Park.

Cary has its own Skate shop, Fatties Boardshop, 25 Spring St., downtown Cary.
At Fatties, you can find the coolest skate boards, apparel and accessories, ranging from designer boards, wheels, long-boards and even specialized skate shoes.
Chris Pagnoni, who took his money and a opportunity from his dad and made his dream come true, owns the shop.
"Basically, you want to come here to get the customize feel. I’m not just going to get you out the door," Pagnoni said. "I’m going to get you something you like, something that fits you right, something that you’re going to be able to use, you’re going to like.
He added, "You’re not just going to take it home, ride it for a week and be like you know what, I really don’t like this, and you go out and get another one. I want you set up so you’re happy and leave with a smile. That’s basically what I go for.
