Pickleball Updates from the The Racket Club

Drop In Pickleball, Outdoor Courts at Spoerl Park and Club Tourney

Pickleball is a game resembling tennis in which players use paddles to hit a perforated plastic ball over a net. The Racket Club, a Crystal Lake Park District tennis facility is offering Weekly Drop-In Pickleball on Wed, Noon-2 pm, Th, 7:30-9:30 pm, Fri, 1-4 pm, Sat, 2-4 pm. Equipment is available to use. The fee is $4 members and $5 non-members. The Racket Club facility located at 9101 S. Route 31, Algonquin. For more information call 847-658-5688.

Spoerl Park (7610 Pingree Rd, Crystal Lake) is home to six dedicated, outdoor Pickleball courts. Courts will open for the season Mar 29, 2021, conditions permitting. Free, public play available dawn -dusk, 7 days.
