Vintage Rides Returns to Wheaton
Vintage Rides in Wheaton returns this Friday for the summer season. Visitors can check out antique cars during this popular weekly summer car show held on Front Street each Friday night in Wheaton. Grayslake Craft Beer Festival
The craft beer festival downtown Grayslake will feature over 100 brews from more than 40 different breweries. The event will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Grayslake Festival Grounds, which are located on South Whitney Street between Center Street and Park Avenue in downtown Grayslake. Tickets are $35 for those tasting the craft beers and $10 for a designated driver ticket. Get more information online.

Butterflies and Blooms at Chicago Botanic Garden
The exhibit kicked off last weekend and continues through Sept. 7. The exhibit is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ”Butterflies & Blooms is a butterfly exhibition where visitors can immerse themselves in a habitat filled with hundreds of live butterflies. This exhibition is filled with species native to South America, Asia, North America, and Africa, as well as those native to Illinois,” according to the Chicago Botanic Garden website. Elton John, Billy Joel Tribute
“Mike Sigman brings the music of Elton John & Billy Joel to life in the show that pays them the ultimate tribute” and will be held starting at 3 p.m. Sunday at Cantigny Park, 15151 Winfield Road in Wheaton. The concert is free with $5 parking. There is lawn seating and visitors are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs. Get more information online.
Gilberts Community Days
Gilberts will host Gilberts Community Days this weekend. There will be live entertainment, a carnival, classic car show, petting zoo and more. Get more information on the festival on the Gilberts Community Days’ website.
An Evening With Alan Parsons: Live Project
An Evening With Alan Parsons: Live Project will be come to the Arcada in downtown St. Charles starting at 8 p.m. Friday. “The last time Alan was here at The Arcada Theatre, the crowd never sat down. He and his fabulous band perform an incredible set of deeply musical renditions of his hits including “Eye in the Sky,” and The Chicago Bulls theme song, “Sirius,’” according to the Arcada website. Lana Del Ray in Tinley Park
Popular singer Lana Del Ray will be performing starting at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, 19100 Ridgeland Ave. in Tinley Park. Tickets range from $32 to over $200. Get more information online.
