Police Chase Stolen Dump Truck Through McHenry, Lake Counties
A 20-year-old man from London, England later told police he did not stop because he thought he was being filmed for a movie.

WOODSTOCK, IL - A 28-year-old man from London, England faces several charges after he led police on a chase through several area towns in a stolen dump truck. The reason why he didn't stop, he later said, was because he believed he was being filmed for a movie, the Woodstock Independent reports.
Authorities began tracking Rahman Sidhekur, 28, and the 1996 GMC 2500 he was driving after he was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident in Fox Lake 0n April 7, according to the article. Woodstock police picked up the chase at Route 47 and Ware Road before Sidhekur crossed into Crystal Lake.
Sidhekur was eventually arrested by a Crystal Lake Police Department officer who found him at a car dealership, according to the Woodstock Independent.

Sidhekur now faces several charges stemming from the April 7 chase, including aggravated fleeing police/21 mph over, criminal trespassing to vehicle, receiving/possessing/selling a stolen vehicle, reckless driving and speeding,according to online jail records. His bond has been set at $80,000.
Sidhekur remains in custody as of Friday morning, according to online jail records. He is next expected in court on April 27.
